During American Idol Season 8, fans could download a special iPhone application and view exclusive "Confessional" videos recorded every week by the AI finalists. Adam recorded a total of 11 these intimate videos, where he talks to his fans about his experience on the show.

Bubble Tweets
Adam sent a number of Bubble Tweets to his fans, either through his own account, or through other Idols' accounts. Adam started using Twitter for the first time on June 12, 2009. His original account was "@therealGlambert" but he changed it a few days later to "@adamlambert". Unfortunately, it was hacked on July 14 and he didn't regain control of it until August 5.
- September 6, 2009: Danny Gokey's Bubble Tweet sent from backstage in Grand Rapids, MI. Features a three-part harmony with Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, and Scott MacIntyre, with appearances by Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and Anoop Desai.
